The Nintendo Switch 2 has just launched globally on June 5, 2025, and it’s causing a huge buzz in the gaming world. The console features a 7.9-inch 1080p LCD touchscreen, HDR10 support, and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it a significant upgrade over its predecessor.
Demand has been sky-high, with millions of pre-orders and stock selling out within a day. In India, the console will officially be available from June 8, 2025, but due to import costs, buyers may have to pay between ₹58,000 to ₹65,000, much higher than its $499 global price.
The game lineup is also fueling excitement, with titles like Mario Kart World, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch 2 Edition), Cyberpunk 2077, and Street Fighter 6 showcasing the console’s enhanced graphics and performance.
