Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is making a bold move into artificial intelligence by partnering with two global tech giants — Meta and Google.

The company has launched “Reliance Intelligence”, an AI-focused joint venture with Meta. This collaboration will integrate Meta’s open-source Llama models with Reliance’s expansive ecosystem spanning telecom, retail, energy, and manufacturing. “Together we want to ensure that everyone in India has access to AI — and eventually superintelligence,” said Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Meta.

In parallel, RIL has struck a partnership with Google to establish the Jamnagar Cloud region. The initiative aims to deliver world-class AI and computing capabilities from Google Cloud directly to India. Highlighting the collaboration, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, noted that the partnership builds on a decade of cooperation with Reliance and will help accelerate India’s AI adoption.

Adding to the momentum, Reliance Jio is gearing up for an IPO in the first half of 2026, according to Chairman Mukesh Ambani.

With these moves, Reliance is positioning itself as a central player in India’s AI revolution, bridging global technology leadership with local scale.
